PwAI Students Achieve Top 1% in Global CMU Cybersecurity Competition
PwAI is proud to share that its student teams achieved Top 1% in the 2026 CMU Cybersecurity Competition, competing among over 8,700 teams worldwide.
The competition took place from March 9 to March 19, during March Break. It provides students with an immersive and intensive learning experience.
PwAI fielded three teams composed of students from Grade 7 to Grade 12. All three teams delivered outstanding results:
- Team Mars Top 1%
- Team Nova Top 5%
- Team Sirius Top 10%
These achievements reflect strong problem-solving ability, teamwork, and resilience under pressure.
During the competition, students took on the role of “ethical hackers,” solving real-world cybersecurity challenges across areas such as web exploitation, binary exploitation, forensics, cryptography, reverse engineering, and blockchain.
This hands-on experience allows students to develop critical thinking skills and learn how to approach complex problems — essential abilities in the AI-driven world.
PwAI is proud of its students for taking on this global challenge and pushing their limits.
